ARREST OF FORGERS. , Received 9, 6 p.m. ' Calcutta, April 8. Further search shows that Monan Roy's was only a coining den, and the amis were intended only for self-defence. [The police raided Roy's premises, and found quantities of picric acid and dynamite, and a complete bank-note plant.] THE BAYONET FOR STRIKERS. Received 10, 1 a.m. Paris, April 9. A dockers' strike occurred at Bayonne. The strikers strongly barricaded the streets and volleyed the troops with stones. The barricades were carried at the bayonet point, and a striker was fatally injured. RAILWAY STRIKE PROBABLE. Received 10, V' 2.25 a.m. Ottawa, April fl. The conference between the CanadianPacific railway officials and their mechanics was broken off, and a strike may follow.
