ANOTHER MAORI MEMORIAL

THE LATE MR. HONE HERE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Over a thousand Maoris have assembled at Kaikohe in connection with the unveiling of the monument to the late Hone Hoke, M.P. The attendance includes many representatives from the Wairarapa, as well as the four North Auckland tribes. Owing to the illness of the Hon. J. Carroll, the ceremony of unveiling the monument, which was originally fixed for to-morrow, has been postponed till Tuesday, when Mr. Carroll is expected to be present.
