Area No. 17—Consisting of the Borough of Miramar and that part of the City of Wellington to E. and S. of a line from Polhill Gully to Aro street, hence by Aro, Wordsworth, Webb, Arthur, Buckle and EUice streets to the top of tne Plantation Reserve, hence northviirds along crest of ridge to Boundary road, hence east by Boundary road to the sea.

Consisting of that part of the City of Wellington north of Area No. 18, also the County of Makara and that part of the County of the Hutt lying to the west of the western watershed of the Hutt River. MANAWATU 1 GROUP. Consisting of Areas Nos. 21, 22, 23 and 24. Officer in charge of Group: Lieut. F. G. Hume. Headquarters: Drill Shed, Wang'Tiui. Area No. 21—Consisting of the Counties of Wanganui (W. of the Turakina River) and Waitotara (S. of the Kai Ivvi and an E. and W. line from it. .through Pt. 880, to the Wanganui River). Areat Sergt.-Major Walker, J. Headquarters: Drill Shed, Wanganui. Area No. 22—Consisting of the Counties of Rangitikei, Wanganui (E. of the Turakina River) and Kiwitea (N. of 40deg. E. long.). E. long.), Pohangina, Oroua and Manawatu (N. of and E. and W. line through Taikoria Hill).
