♦ SHOW AT WINCHESTER. By Telegraph.—Press'Association. Timaru, Last Night. After being dormant about five and thirty years, with a ground at Winchester and a bank balance awaiting use, the Temuka and Geraldine A. and P. Society revived this year and held a show to-day. There were about 700 entries, the majority being live stock. The feature of the show was light horses. The attendance was about 3000. ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES, Wellington, Last Night. The arrivals in New Zealand last month numbered 3370, and the departures 3525. In February, 1910, there were 2889 arrivals and 2843 departures. MINERS' TROUBLE SETTLED. Greymouth, Last Night. The Blackball owners' manifesto was submitted to a large meeting of Industrial Union workers to-day, At a later meeting the men's representatives met the management, and a satisfactory settlement was arrived at. OFFICERS' DECORATION. Wellington, Yesterday, i The volunteer forces of the Dominion, having now become the territorial forces, it is notified that officers awarded the colonial auxiliary forces' officer's decoration, will have the letters "T.D." placed after their names, instead of "V.D." as heretofore.
