Fifteen hundred troops are hurrying to Kopuiku to intercept the advancing Albanians, and a further 3000 troops are mobilising. A SEVERE BRUSH. TURKS LOSE IG4 MEX. Received 30, 10.50 p.m. Constantinople, March 31. Advices from Skodra state that the Turkish troops at all points have been engaged in fighting for the past twentyfour hours. Four officers and IGO men have been killed. The enemy are 10,000 strong, including 2000 Montenegrins. Colonel ■Schlitoliling's murder is regarded as a sien of Albanian excitement similar to that of 1003, when Albanians shot the Russian Consuls at Mitrovitza and Monastir. The Turkish Minister threatens to quit Cetliiije. (the capital of Montenegro) in twenty-four hours unless twelve Turkish soldiers captured by the Montenegrins are surrendered.
