CONSOLIDATION OF DEBTS. By Cable—Pit*.=. Association— Copyright Capetown, March 29. The Floating Debts and Public Works Bill, which has been introduced in the Union Parliament, authorises the raising of loans not exceeding £10,00(1,000 to provide for the redemption of the floating debts of Natal, Cape Colony and the Orange River Colony totalling £0,700,000. and also that the surplus revenues at the date of union be. devoted to debt redemption.
