■*■ PROGRESS WE'TOURNAMENT. A progressive tournament took place on the New Plymouth rinks yesterday, seven rinks participating. Mr. Ewing, secretary of the New Plymouth Bowling Club, received cable advice from Sydney yesterday to the effect that arrangements were being made to give the Tarnnaki bowlers a hearty welcome on their arrival. During the Easter holidays an important inter-State tournament will be held at Sydney, and a large gathering of bowlers is expected.
