Wolfe, officer commanding Auckland military district, to 20th June, 1912; Colonel J. D. Hawkins, V.D., officer commanding Canterbury military district, to 20th June, 1912: Colonel V. S. Smyth, officer commanding Otago military district, t» 10th July, 1912; Major T. W. McDonald, seconded for service under the Minister of Education, as commandant junior cadets, to Ist May, 1913; Captain H. R. Potter, assistant adjutnnt-gcneral, Canterbury district, to Ist April, 1912; Captain R. Carpenter, assistant' adjutant-general, Auckland district, to Ist April, 1912; Captain D. A. Hickey, D.5.0., assistant adjutantgeneral, Otago district, to Bth May, 1912; Captain G. S. Richardson, attached to the general staff at headquarters, to 20th December, 1914; Captain J. E. Duigan, attached to general staff at headquarters, to 20th December, 1914. The following officers have been appointed to command brigades for a period of four years to date from 17th March, 1911:—Auckland Mounted Brigade, Lieut.-Colonel W. D. Holgate; infantry brigade, Major C. T. Major, D.S.O. Wellington Mounted Brigade, Lieut.Colonel A. H. Russel; infantry brigade, Lieut.-Colonel R. W. Tate. Canterbury Mounted Brigade, Lieut.-Colonel R.
