The majority of the creditors held warrants upon the Phoenix wharf against monies entrusted to Bowron Bros. The wharf is now practically empty. A SYDNEY EXPLANATION. Received 24, 10.30 p.m. Sydney, March 24. Sydney newspapers announce, at the request of the secretary of Bowron Bros.' Export and Trading Co., Ltd., Sydney and New Zealand, that they are in no way connected, directly or indirectly, with Bowron Bros., of Bermondsey, the details of whose failure are given by the Shoe and Leather Record.
