/ SUMMARY AND FORECAST. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. ,' Wellington, Last Night. ! The Meteorological Office has issued .'the following summary and forecast:— The winds changed to moderate to strong southerlies, and showers fell in most parts: of the country. During the night the barometer rose, but has remained steady to-day. Present indications are for freshening southerly winds, arid cool and changeable weather generally, with heavy showers in parts. The barometer will prooably rise again everywhere shortly, and may become very high in about thirty-six hours.
