AN IMPORTANT STATEMENT. By Cable —Preas Association.—Copyright. Received 23, 9.20 p.m. London, March 23. A deputation representing the Scottish National Committee waited upon the Premier (Mr. H. 11. Asquith) in favor of complete devolution for Scotland. Mr. Asquith replied that he was conscious of the growing difficulty of Scottish affairs receiving jiroper consideration at Westminster. Irish Home Rule, he said, was but a part of a fuller scheme.
