THE GREAT COMEDY HIT-" SEVEN DAYS." Think of a man and his divorced wife and girl who is pretending to be his wife and a man who is in love with the pretended wife, and a rich spinster aunt who thinks they are man and wife, a burglar and a policeman, being shut in a house for a week, with a quarantine gfiard watching to see that nobody gets out or in, the servants lied, and no communication with the outside world except by telephone. That one week in quarantine makes the clever comedy "Seven \ Days," which, for two years has caused ] an epidemic of laughter in New York and for .six months raged virulently in Chicago. This notable comedy . success will be staged at the Theatre Roval on -Monday, for one night only, by lhigh .1. Ward's company of comedians. It will be presented in a maimer worthy of l.ugli -I. Ward, whose reputation as a theatrical producer has been established by many brilliant triumphs, and of these "Seven Din's" promises to be the biggest. Channing Pollock, author, dramatist and critic, in writing of "Seven Days" for the (Ireen I'.ook Magazine, said: "All's. Rinehart and Mr. Hopwood have built the most consistently amusing farce that has ,-ven been produced in America, and between its -nreession of surprising situt':"n-. ils cri.sp and witty dialogue, am! ■its unusually excellent interpretation, the piece is simply irresistible. Mr. Ward and his merry associates make their farewell appearance in New Plymouth* this visit.
