PETROLEUM NEWS
NO. 3 DOING WELL. No. 3 bore still continues to flow freely. There are still periodic outbursts, but the manager (Mr. Keith) has the well under perfect control, ana the oil is conducted into tanks for storage purposes, whilst the gas is led to the furnace and utilised as fuel. The longer the bore llows, the better are the indications for oil. It is expected that drilling operations will be resumed this morning, and the bore driven a few feet more. | Matters are progressing very favorably at the other bores. | Buy preference s?iaree at once. They] are a perfectly safe and very promising investment, and one that may be re- ( commended with confidence. Send to Walter Bewley, New Plymouth.—Advt. I
