By Telegraph.—Presß AsaooiatUn. : , Wellington, Last Night. ■ The weather report .and forecast are as follow:—Rain has fallen in many parts of the country. Freshes are reported on the rivers on the west coast of the South Island. Moderate to Btrong northerly winds have prevailed northward of Westport and Kaikoura, and strong westerlies, changing to southerlies, elsewhere, but with decreasing' 4oree. The present indications are for cloudy and changeable weattier, with: rain in many parte. Moderate to strong •westerly and southerly winds will .probably prevail. The barometric pressure ig unsteady, but probably rising in the south and elsewhere after from ten to sixteen hours. . - -
