ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

SCHOOL TEACHER INJURED. Still another accident is reported. Miss Ross, school teacher at the Okoke School, was driving to school yesterday morning, and when going over the bridge on the Piko road, the trap and horse by some means were capsized into the stream. Mr. 11. .Matthews, who was passing that way, found Miss Ross, and conveyed her home. Dr. Wylie was telephoned for. Particulars are meagre at present, but it is to be hoped that her injuries are not serious. It is stated that it was only the fact that her clothing caught in the timbers of the bridge, that prevented her falling into the stream.—Urenui correspondent.
