THE WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. < Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast: — Warm and hazy weather with increasing cloudiness has prevailed, and a falling larometer everywhere. Northerly winds have increased, and gales have been experienced in Foveaux Strait and parts of the South Island. Rain has fallen in several places. Present indications aTe for rain and stonny weather generally. High northerly and westerly winds will probably prevail, changing shortly to southerly in the southern districts. The barometer will probably fall in all parts of the country.
