RIDICULOUS ALTERNATIVES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day John Graham, the occupier of a lodging-house in the city, was fined £SO, or, in default, a month's imprisonment, for 6ly grog selling. His housekeeper, Isabella Mitchell, was fined £5, or seven days' imprisonment. Harry Smith, of Panic!!, who had been convicted of four similar offences, was fined £IOO, or, in default, a month's imprisonment.
