THE BAGDAD RAILWAY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 19, 5 p.m. Constantinople, March 18. The Porte has agreed to allow the Bagdad Railway Company to extend the line to Bagdad. The company renounces its lien on 4 per cent, increase in Customs duties, receiving instead a security upon the Empire's general revenues. The company will build a branch line from Osmanicli to Alcxandractta, and construct u harbor at Alcxandractta. Router's Constantinople correspondent reports that the company has agreed to the Porte arranging for the construction of the Bagdad-Persian Gulf section of the line on the basis of Germany having an equal participation with any foreign Power.
