A TERRIFIC CYCLONE
BUILDINGS WRECKED AT CAIRNS. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright. Received 18, 1.5 a.m. Brisbane, March 17. A terrific cyclone at Cairns brought the telegraph wires down, and many buildings were destroyed, whilst in other cases roofs and verandahs were bodily removed. The damage is stated to exceed £IO,OOO.
