RELAXING THE RESTRICTIONS. By Cable—Prw Association—Copyright. Received 10, 12.35 a.m. Ottawa, March 15. The Canadian Government is contemplating relaxing the Chinese immigration restrictions in order to allow the wives of incoming Chinese entry without pay; ing poll-tax. Senators favor the proposal, several expressing the belief that the general restrictions are too rigorous.
