1 By Telegraph—Prass Afleaciatira. * Wellington, Last Night.
The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary' and forecast:— Cloudy, hazy and warm weather has preTailed, and light showery weather in parts, but, considerable rain is reported in the far south. Northerly winds have prevailed, but are veering by west to south in southern districts. The baTOmeter has fallen and risen in southernmost districts, but little movement is reported generally. Present indications are for unsettled and cloudy weather and rain in most parts of the country. The barometer will probably fall in the northern districts, but rise slowly in the south. Strong northerly winds are .probable in the north, and westerly and southerly winds in Uie south.
