The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— Warm and hazy weather has prevailed, ■with moderate to strong northerly 'winds. The barometer has fallen everywhere, but very slowly. A storm area appears to be developing on. the ocean between Australia and New Zealand. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, warm and hazy' weather, with increasing cloudiness preceding rain in all parts of the country. Strong northerly winds are probable generally.
