A good finish, the race being won b;y a short neck, with two lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 3 3-ssec. All Aged Stakes.—Comedy King 1, Broadsword 2, Alawa 3. Also started: llala, Son of the Marsh, Danaus, Desert Rose. Comedy King was always handy, and ran to the front at the home turn. He led into the straight from Broadsword, Mala, and Desert Rose, and won, without being extended, by six lengths. Alawa came very fast at the finish, but failed by a neck to reach Broadsword. Time, lmin 43sec. Autumn Handicap—Flavian, 8.3, 1; Ilerova, 0.8, 2; Matouree, 8.12, 3. Other starters: Adagio, Loyal Blue, Aurofodina, Chauvelin, Bolan, Ilerova led for half a mile, and then eased up. Flavian took charge at the distance, and won by a length, two lengths separating second and third. Time, omin 54',4sec. Nursery Handicap—Mashtun 1, Psyttyx 2, St. Vano 3. Loch Plate.—Bobadea (Lambert) 1, Diabolo (Davies) 2, Obi (Foley) 3. Also ran: Indiscreet, who made all the running to the straight. Won by four lengths, a length between second and third. Time, 3min 37 3-osec.
