r AND FORECAST. L B* Xelegrkpin.—Preaa Assoeiatitnu - ', I Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the -following summary and forecast:— There has been little change in the, barometric pressure. The weather has been showery in the southernmost districts, and changeable skies are reported generally. Moderate to strong southerly and westerly winds have prevailed, squally about Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for a slowly rising barometer in the south, and but little movement in the north. Moderate to strong southerly and westerly winds will probably prevail. The weather conditions are generally unsettled, promising passing showers in many parts of the country.
