FIRE AT lIORNSBY. Sydney, March 8. A fire at Hornsby destroyed the Bank of North Queensland and two adjoining shops, and damaged four others. The amount of the danger has not been estimated. THE GILBERT ISLANDS. Sydney, March 8. The drought in the Gilbert Islands broke, and rain was fulling steadily during January.
