The Rarawa brought 70 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning, including 15 tons of manure, 20 tons of cement, 5 tons of flour, 3 tons of sugar, and 150 cases of fruit. Owing to the Rarawa's boilers having to undergo inspection she will not arrive here on Friday morning. Her next trip will be on Monday, ROSAMOND DELAYED. The Rosamond has been delayed at Wellington and will not arrive here till Friday morning.. She will have but a small quantity of cargo for this port. 545 VESSELS LAUNCHED. Lloyd's annual summary of ship-build-ing for 191<> shows that during the year 500 vessels (exclusive of warships), of 1,143,169 tons gross, were launched in the United Kingdom. Of this number 473 were steamers and 27 sailing vessels. The warships launched amounted to 45, of 134,645 tons. The total output for the year was, therefore, 545 vessels, of 1,277,814 tons. The output of mercantile tonnage in the United Kingdom during 1910 showed an increase of 152,103 tons on that of last year; but was the. lowest total recordod by Lloyd's for thirteen years, with the exception of 1908 and 1909. With regard to war vessels, the total for 1910 was 8415 tons more than in 1909. As in 1909 and 1908 the oversea States provided the largest amount of work for the shipbuilders of the United Kingdom.
