THE TAIUXAKI COMPANY. Yesterday afternoon at a depth ol 1015 feet in Xo. 5 bore a very strong vein of gas was tapped, which threw the silt in the bore to a neurit of 30 feet in the derrick. When it is considered that it is an Sin. bore, the pressure of gas must he very great to throw the silt so high. At Xo. 3 the depth is 3500 foot, anil oil is flowing freely. At Xo. 2 the flow is maintained about' ns usual. Another consignment of crude oil has been dispatched to the order of an Auckland customer.
