DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORTS.
Messrs J. B. MacEwan and Co., Ltd., report as following on this season's produce exports to London:— From New Zealand:—Shipped per Waimate, Feb. 11, 1011, 44 tons butter; per Matatua, February 20, 85 tons butter; per Athenic, February 23, 848 tons butter, 828 tons cheese; per Sussex, February 27, 2 tons butter, 461 tons cheeseper Mamari, February 28, 55 tons butter, 514 tons cheese; totals, 1034 tons butter 1801 tons cheese.
The comparative figures for 1910 werePer Aaraw, Februayr 24, 054 tons butter, Ba6 tons cheese; Karamea, February 26, 357 ,tons butter, 212 tons cheese; Morayshire, February 26, 16 tons butter, 529 toils cheese; per Mamari, March 1 51 tons butter 454 tons cheese; totals 1078 tons butter, 2051 tons cheese. The shipment to date as compared with last season are:—From New Zealand—Butter: Season 1909-10, 13 m tons, 1910-1911, 14,315 tons; increase.'s'/ 3 per cent. Cheese: Season 1909-1910 10,241 tons, 1910-1911, 13,914 tons- decrease, 8y 2 per cent. mfr 0 ?, Australia-Butter: Season 19091910, 22,436 tons; 1910,1911, 32.235 tonsincrease 44 per cent. ' Latest cables from London advise that there is a steady demand for best brands of salted butter at 104s to 106s, with the market steady. Colored cheese is selling at oßs to 595, white 575, with an upward tendency.
