.«». (From Our. Own Correspondent). The usual monthly meeting of the School Committee was held on Monday evening, there being present: Messrs. Pearce (chairman), Wakely, Kettle, Johnston, and Trim. The chairman reported on the result of the visit of himself and the secretary to the Education Board in reference to the subsidy for erection of shelter sheds. The committee considered tbe reply very satisfactory. The committee arranged to meet at the school on Monday next at 5.30 to arrange sites for the shelter sheds. The Waitara Dairy Company pay to suppliers for February milk £1162 18s Id, an increase of £224 5s 3d as against February, of last year. Milk increased by (i-2,G031b., wjlilst. butter increased from 25,0811b. to 31,8421b., making 3, tons 51b. increase. The average test rose from 4.3 to 4.8.
