The new waltz "Spring Morning" composed by Mr. F. von Lubbe, of New Plymouth, and formerly of Auckland,- is now on sale at the; local music stores. Those who have heard it describe it as a very fine composition. The waltz is set for various instruments, and has been splendidly lithographed by The Hooker Printing Co. Messrs. Gilmour and Clarke report the sale of Mrs. Bailefte property of 03 acres at Omata to Mr. Lovall, of .the Wairarapa district. Mr. Lovall also pur- „ chased the stock on the farm.
Arrangements for the Grand Irish National concert on St. Patrick's night are now well forward. The sen-ices of Mr. J. W. Ryan (of Auckland) and Mr. Ralph Farmer (of Waitara) have been obtained. In addition the best local talent have offered their services, and a, good night's entertainment is assured. Watch Thursday's issue fer programme.
