SAILED. Wellington, Tuesday.—Sailed, at 6.8 a.m., Kaipara, for London. THE KOONYA. ' The Koonya arrived from southern ports yesterday morning with 397 tons of cargo. She sailed about 6 p.m. for Westport andi' Greymouth, taking away a small quantity of cargo, including 2500 ft of timl»r for Greymouth, ITWO NEW LEVIATHANS. Two great battleships, the largest ever designed for the British Navy, were begun when the first keel plates were laid of the King George V. at Portsmouth and the Centurion at Devonport. No official particulars with reference to the two ships have been made known, but it is believed that the Centurion will be approximately 600 ft over all, with a beam of 89ft, and a displacement of between 23,000 and 24,000 tons. Each vessel of the class will have ten 13.5 in guns, arranged along the centre line, giving a bow and stern fire of all ten. Three 21, in torpedo i tubes will be carried. Increased armor protection will be another characteristic! of the ships. j
