Auckland representative crickit match wag concluded to-day in flue weather, but on ft wicket which was very soft, the result of the heavy rain of Sunday. MATCHES ELSEWHERE. Christchurch, March 4. In fine weather the tenth and final round of the senior championship matches was commenced to-day. Sydenham, the leading team, scored 252 against West Christchurch, Patrick playing a capital innings of 75, and Bruges 59 by hard hitting. West Christchurch responded with five runs without the loss a wicket. East Christchurch fared badly against Riccarton, being all out for 150— W. Carlton 65 and Sims 43 alone being able to make headway against the bowling. As Riccarton had wiped off 75 for the loss of two wickets, they should have no difficulty in winning. St. Albans disposed of Linwood for 170 —A. E. Ridley 48, Thomas 45, both pinying excellent cricket. Sandman with five for 01 was the best bowler for St. Albans, who responded with 93 for three wickets, Crawshaw batting exceedingly well for 57.
Dunedin, March 4. Tile cricket matches were continued yesterday in fine weather, hut owing to lack of rain the wickets were not in the best condition. Albion made 202 against Grange—J. Shepherd 128, Hiddleaton 58. Cfrange lost three wickets for 75. Opoho met Carisbrook A and compiled 194. TTopkins took three wickets for 14. Carisbrook A made 56 for five wickets. Dunedin put on 149 against Carisbrook B —Condliffe 41. The latter lost five wickets for 76.
