ATTACKED BY A HORSE
BITTEN AND KNOCKED DOWN. By Telegraph—Preßs Association. Auckland, Saturday. A young lady named Miss Blanche Wickstead, when walking along Prospect Terrace, Mount Eden, yesterday afternoon, was attacked by a horse which had escaped from a neighboring paddock. The animal seized her with Its teeth and knocked her down, with the result that she sustained injuries to her head and one shoulder. Tim animal was eventually driven off by a passer-by, and Miss Wickstead was removed to her home. This morning slitwas progressing satisfactoiily.
