To-night there will lie a recital of the new March-Ambroil records at Mr. C. Carter's phonograph parlour. The public are cordially invited. By advertisement in this issue, the sale of Sir Joseph Ward's horses and carriages is announced. They will be disposed of by auction at Watt's Horse Bazaar, Howe's Lane, Wellington, at 2 p.m., on March 8. Mr. David Nathan'* carriage and horses will also be sold. Mr. P. 11. Watt will wield the hammer. Mr. Newton King calls attention to the sale of education leases and freehold properties which he is holding at his mart, Devon street, to-day at 2 o'clock. The majority of the leases for sale are of some really fine building sites in some of the choicest localities in New Plymouth, and at the small upset rentals, they should be readily snapped up by anyone wanting to build in the town; while to anyone wanting farms and sheep runs the rural properties should prove exceptionally tempting. Of the freehold properties to be offered, that in the Waiwakaiho district comprising 101 acres, should meet with ready sale, being, as it is, one of the finest pieces of land in this part of the district.
