MISS AMY CASTLES' FAREWELL CONCERT TOUR. It is eight years since Miss Amy Castles visited New Zealand as a concertplatform artist, and enjoyed a remarkable success. Since then she has studied in the Old Country, and appeared before the public in grand opera recently with the Williamson Grand Opera Company. Jt is as a concert platform artist, howover, that Miss Amy Castles is best known and has achieved her greatest successes. Commenting on one of her concerts, the Melbourne Age said:—"Miss Amy Castles has a voice the like of which may not be heard, in this country at nil events, for many decades." Miss Castles will give one concert in Xew Plymouth on March 20 in the Theatre Royal. Miss Castles will be supported by a spe-cially-selected concert company, including Mr. Alexander Camphausen (baritone), Mr. Louis Hattenbaeh ('cellist), and Mr. William Conway (pianist). The prices are to be ss, 3s and 2s, and the box plan opens at Colliers' on the 13th, with special accommodation for country patrons. Miss Castles will sing many popular numbers by special request.
