DETECTIVE-SERGEANTS
NEW RANK CREATED. By Telegraph.—Press Association Wellington, Last Night. Dr. Findlay, Minister of Justice, stated to-day that it haefbeen deemed advisable to give further encouragement to the detective branch of the police service. The rank of Detective-Sergeant would be created, and the detectives of senior service and good record would be promoted to that rank.
