GOLD-MINING
TELLURTDES PROPRIETARY, LTD. The following is a copy of the Mine Manager's report, dated February 25, Excellent. The drive on this section of the property lias been advanced a further 33 feet, making a total of 10(5 feet from t»he entrance. The country is still very hard, and progress is consequently slow. The drive on the north end of the Taranaki reef has been extended 40 feet from the starting point, and still continues to show a little sulphide. Operations here have now been suspended whilst the men are excavating on the Gordon section for the rock drill machine site. Gordon. Work on this section has been confined principally to excavating for a machine site and cutting out a chamber for the air receiver. ° Volunteer.—The low level drive in this section has been advanced eighteen feet, and the country showing in the face is a good class of sandstone, and I expect to intersect the flat reef within the neat I<o feet of driving.
