"TIIK THIRD DEGREE." A special telegram from Auckland states that the production by Mr. J. C. Willianmson's Katherine Grey Co. of ''The Third Degree" created a sensation last night. The play itself was voted the most powerful drama yet staged m Auckland, and it was unanimously declared that Miss Katherine ({rev rises to the greatest heights of her dramatic genius at the termination of her bin scene with William Desmond in the third act. The audience were Imid in applause, and at the final fall of the curtain they cheered the actress again and again.
