Time, Imin 14 3-ssec. CAULFIELD FUTURITY STAKES. Keceived 26, 5.5. p.m. Melbourne, February 25. ! The Futurity Stakes, of 2000 sovs, weight for age, seven furlongs, resulted: Blairgour 8.5 1, Broadsword f1.7 2, Comedy King 10.3 3. There were thirteen starters. Blairgour took charge shortly after the start, followed by Broadsword, John Porter, Desert Rose, Kuringai, and Comedy King. There was little change to the turn, where Blairgour was three lengths in front of Broadsword, with Comedy King, John Porter, and Kuringai as his nearest attendants. Blair- 1 gour led into the straight, and in a good finish won by three-quarters of a length,! two lengths between second and third, j Time, lmin 27 1 / 4 sec.
