SUPREME COURT.
THE NAPIER SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Tuesday. Addressing the Grand Jury at the opening of the Supreme Court to-day, ■Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice, regretted that he could not congratulate the district on the smallncss of the calendar, which comprised charges against thirteen prisoners, though none of the cases were of a serious nature. Decrees nisi were granted in the following cases:—Nellie Burnett O'Reilly v. Edward O'Reilly, desertion; Robert Loosemore Williams v. Emma Moore Williams, and Redmond Everard (corespondent), adultery; Minnie Brock v. Henry Brock, desertion. Napier, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice, James Russell, charged with stealing at Napier the sum of sixteen shillings from the person, and Stephen Cornelius Thomas Kahey, charged with stealing a watch valued at ,13 10s at Hastings, were found not guilty.
