J HEREBY give notice that at a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Xew Plymouth, taken on the 21st day of February, 1911, on the following proposal of the New Plymouth Borough Council:— "The New Plymouth Borough Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £11,225. (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the improvement of the streets (by formation and metalling), and the extension of the sewers. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is .€11,225. .(c) The proposed security is a special rate of 2%d in the £ on the annual value of all rateable property within the Borough, and its revenues, rents, tolls, issues, and profits (with the exception of all land used for the public abattoir, and all buildings and erections thereon, and the revenues and profits thereon, and excepting moneys received or receivable by way of grant from the Government), and provision is made for repayment by means of a sinking fund in 30'/.
