To make a wedding cake, rub to a soft and light cream a cup of butter and one and one-half cups of powdered sugar. When light, add six eggs well beaten. Mix together a teaspoonful ! each of cinnamon and nutmeg, powdered, and one-half teaspoonful of ground cloves. Put together one-fourth pound of minced citron, and one-half pound each of seeded and halved .raisins and well cleaned currants.
