TARANAKI RIFLE .ASSOCIATION. The nominations received for the Rifle Association meeting, to he held at 1 the Waiwakaiho range 'ou Wednesday and Thursday, are far ahead of those for last year, and the success of the meeting seems assured. Every company of territorials in TaranaUis is represented, as well as every rifle club. The youngest club (Pohokura) has entered seven men, and will also be competing in the teams' match. Among the outside competitors are Sergeant Franks, of Nelson, a New Zealand representative, Eyles, of Dannevirke, and Stanton, of Taumarunui.
