AN ATTACK ON KRUPPS. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 17, 12.18 a.m. Berlin, February 10. During the navy debate, the Socialists accused the Krupp family of making £2,340,000 clear profit in the last three years by squeezing the whole district like a lemon. Forty per cent, of the workmen's dwellings at Essen were in a disgraceful condition. Herr Von Tirpitz replied that hardly a firm has done as much as the Krupp's in improving workers' housing and social conditions.
