In connection rijpor that an American meat trust is ptWspecting in Australia, the Pastoralist Review states that it is informed from an authentic source that the Swift Company of America packers is about to offer 7 per cent, guaranteed preferred stock of their business to the stock-owners of Australasia, and adds that this is a tempting bait. If they get hold of the source of supply, they may not take long to capture the works and the whole trade.
