SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association., Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather has been very warm and-nazy everywhere. Many places report it as the effect of bush fires. Cloudy weather has increased in the south, and rain is reported at the 'Bluff./ This afternoon the barometer has fallen everywhere, and moderate northerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for a falling barometer.in the North Island, and the barometer will be. unsteady in South, but a rise may be anticipated Bhortly. Increasing cloudiness will probably be followed by rain in most parts of the country. Strong easterly winds, veering to .northerly, are prObjtble in the north, and northerly, changing to southerly, elsewhere. <
