She is practically full of water, and the chances of salving hev are very remote. She is expected to break lip if the sea gets up. At present it is fairly calm. The captain, chief engineer, and second officer are standing by; the remainder of the crew left last night for Eden. Until their arrival, details of the disaster are not available. The steamer lies half a mile from the lighthouse, near where the disastrous wreck of the Lyeemoon took place.
