The New Guinea, which went ashore at Disaster Bav, is broadside to the shore, and is bumping heavily, tearing out the bottom. There is no hope of saving her. NO DETAILS AVAILABLE. Received 14, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, February 14. The New Guinea's bow is high.and dry on the rocks, but the stern is under water. Twenty-six of the crew have arrived at Eden, but are reticent about the accident. Other shipping is hampered by fogs.
