THE WEATHER.

• BUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev, D. C. Bates' nummary and forecast: —This evening the barometric pressure has decreased slightly everywhere. The weather has been very hazy, with fog and drizzle about Foveaux Strait. The weather is much wanner, and the winds have been generally light and variable. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, and especially in the southern districts. Moderate to strong, easterly winds will probably prevail northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and increasing northerlies elsewhere. JOld and more humid conditions are probable generally, with increasing cloudiness, especially in the south.
