LYSOL POISONING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' ' ; Wellington, Saturday. * j The dead body of Mary Purdy, thfl wife of Dr. Purdy, of Lower Hutt, was found in a shallow part of the river close to the family residence this morning. .Mrs. Purdy left a note on her j dining-room table which read: ''l am the river at the bark. God help you. T'i 11 other." She went to bed at midnight, and was then in good health. She was ' missed by her husband at 5.30 this morn- "i ing, and the body was found lying in nine inches of water, clothed only in a nightdress. Her wrapper and slippers were found on the bank higher up the stream. The deceased only returned from Australia ten day 9 ajgo. Wellington, Last Night.
